Hi! I’m Tala, a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer and a lover of all the things that call for red wine. I was born and raised in Lebanon, a country by the shores of the Mediterranean. Coming from a Mediterranean background, my interest in this diet began when I was very young. My research interests centre around the areas of behavioural change and the management of chronic conditions with a specific focus on diet. My PhD research investigates the impact of improving diet quality on reported symptoms and quality of life of adults living with Rheumatoid Arthritis with a particular emphasis on the Mediterranean diet.
